Erupting Volcanos

Our fantastic Mercury students have been building and painting their volcanoes over the last couple of weeks which erupted last week in Science.

First, they built their volcanoes, using old bottles and paper mache. They then painted their volcanoes to look realistic.

Finally, the students created an eruption with sodium bicarbonate and vinegar (containing ethanoic acid). 

The students really enjoyed this project and were so excited to see the "volcanic" eruptions!
