Punctuality Expectations
Arriving to school on time is paramount. Pupils must be in school at the correct time and ready for when the register is taken. Details of this across sites are detailed below:

When pupils arrive late after the register has closed, their attendance will be recorded as unauthorised absence which negatively impacts their attendance figure. Unauthorised absence could also trigger/count towards escalation process for irregular attendance and be taken into consideration on any legal intervention.
Late arrival to school not only impacts pupil attendance but also means that pupils are:
- Missing important instructions for the rest of the school day
- Not accessing Breakfast Clubs to interact with staff and peers and enjoy food before the school days starts
- Developing bad habits which could affect their further education or employability in the future
- Missing the beginning of vital lessons which could lead to gaps in learning
